About Mueller for Andover City Council
My Vision
As a member of the city’s Economic Development Authority for the past three years, I am running to bring disciplined, transparent and driven leadership to the Andover City Council. The City Council must encourage private investment, expand the tax base, and reduce property taxes. In addition, amenities are needed to support the growing population of the city. All work must be pursued so progress is measured in years and not decades.
My wife and I moved to Andover in 1997, and it has proven to be a wonderful city to raise our family. Much has changed since that time, as the city has grown a great deal over the past 27 years.
When we first moved to Andover, the city was referred to as the “Jewel of the North”. The City Council must embrace that vision and improve the quality of life for the citizens they serve.
Expanding the tax base is critical to keep property taxes low. In addition, to support the growing community, services must be expanded to meet the needs and expectations of the new residents.
A growing and prosperous community must be safe, so prioritizing Public Safety must be a goal for the City Council.
I have had a successful career in the private sector over the past 38 years, with expanded leadership roles since the beginning. It is now time to give something back to the city that I have called home since moving to Minnesota.
